King Defense Ministries · Wimberley Valley
King Defense is a non-denominational men's ministry in the Wimberley Valley—a wartime school of identity in Christ. We gather the men nearby and stand alongside their pastors so that men are known by brothers, built up in Scripture and led to the foot of Christ.
Lean on the King. Carry your brother.
Founded by a group of men chasing the Lord
You do not need another place to perform. You need brothers who know your name, tell you the truth and help carry you to Jesus. Whether you come looking for friendship, encouragement or a place to begin again, the invitation is the same: come be known.
Our first field is local: the men who live or work within roughly five to ten miles of the future building, and the pastors of those men. We are not gathering a crowd from somewhere else. We are serving the men of this ground.
The war is spiritual. The fight is not against people. Four questions shape the school.
Who I am
Who I am in Christ.
What I was made for
What I was made for.
How do I know what is true?
How I know what is true.
How do I take back lost ground from the Enemy?
How I take back lost ground from the Enemy by following Christ.
In Mark 2, four friends carry a man to Jesus. That is the picture behind our mat carriers: brothers who will not leave a man alone. We do not fix one another. We help carry one another to Christ.
Planned — the building is not open.
Bibles and barbells.
The planned schoolhouse brings a gym, one golf simulator bay, a meeting area, a kitchen and showers under one neutral roof. The amenities open the door. Scripture, prayer and real brotherhood are the point.
No breakfast, pastors' table or Bible study date has been confirmed for this site. When a real gathering is scheduled, it will be posted with its date, time and place.
Your church remains your church. We want to send men back stronger, not ask them to leave their congregation. Pastors are part of this work, not an audience for it.
Private gifts will make room for men without dues, day passes or a membership fee. Partner through prayer, a monthly or annual gift, or an in-kind contribution to the building.
501(c)(3) status pending; tax-deductibility to be confirmed.
